According to a report by HITC Football, Sheffield United are looking at Manchester United Academy graduate Will Fish ahead of the 2024 summer transfer window.
The Blades could be thinking about the life back in the Championship, following their ongoing struggles in the Premier League. The Blades have so far found the top flight difficult to negotiate.
A 21-year-old defender named Will Fish is currently on loan at Hibernian in Scotland. The season has been going well for him. For the second time in as many seasons, he spent the summer on loan from Manchester United to the Edinburgh-based team.
This season, the center-back has made 36 appearances for Hibernian. Two of those were against Aston Villa, coached by Unai Emery. Early in the season, Will Fish gained priceless experience playing football in Europe. He has played a few games against Aston Villa in the Europa Conference League.
Before leaving on loan to Hibernian, Will Fish spent the pre-season for the ongoing campaign with Manchester United. He featured in the Red Devils’ pre-season squad that travelled to North America. He featured in friendly fixtures against Leeds United, Lyon and League Two outfit Wrexham.

The 21-year-old has established himself as a vital member of Nick Montgomery’s defensive unit. He is really good at playing defence. When it comes to interceptions and defensive duels, Will excels.
He is not only skilled at retrieving the ball but also quite strong with it. He has excellent accuracy when making forward passes from the back.
