HOUSTON (Wed., Dec. 20, 2023) – Houston Dynamo FC and Major League Soccer today announced the full 34-game regular-season schedule for the 2024 season. The Dynamo open the season, powered by Shell Energy, with three consecutive home matches at Shell Energy Stadium, beginning with rivals Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. CT. Houston begins March hosting the New York Red Bulls on Saturday, March 2 and the Portland Timbers on Saturday, March 16.
The home opener will feature a rematch of the 2023 Western Conference Semifinals at Shell Energy Stadium, in which the Dynamo earned a 1-0 victory over Sporting. Houston holds an 8-5-5 (WLD) home record in all regular season matchups versus Kansas City. The Feb. 24 match will be the first chance for fans to experience further stadium updates, including an enhanced pitch side seating experience.

Individual-match tickets for all home matches are available via SeatGeek, the club’s official ticket provider. Pricing varies by seat location and match, but tickets are available for as low as $17 while supplies last, making the Dynamo experience one of the best values in Houston sports. Each match offers an exciting atmosphere fueled by the Hustle Town Supporters section and a taste of the local culinary scene with 10 restaurant partners serving signature dishes at Shell Energy Stadium. Houston faces in-state rivals Austin FC and FC Dallas in back-to-back matches on two occasions next season. The Dynamo first host Austin on Saturday, April 20, before hitting the road to face Dallas on Saturday, April 27. The following month, Houston travels to face Austin on Wednesday, May 15, before hosting Dallas three days later on Saturday, May 18. The Dynamo travel to face Austin FC for a third time on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Including the home opener, Houston will host 11 teams that qualified for the 2023 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs over the 17-match home slate in East Downtown. Highlights include second-year MLS club St. Louis CITY SC (May 4), who finished atop the Western Conference regular season standings last year and face the Dynamo in Round One of the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup. LAFC also comes to town on July 7 for a Western Conference Final rematch and Houston’s only scheduled Sunday MLS match of the season.
The Dynamo face seven Eastern Conference opponents in 2024, including four home matches. Houston hosts New York Red Bulls (March 2), Charlotte FC (June 29), Toronto FC (Aug. 24) and the New England Revolution (Oct. 2). The Dynamo travel to face Chicago Fire FC (April 6), Atlanta United FC (June 15) and D.C. United (June 22), marking Dynamo head coach Ben Olsen’s first trip back to Audi Field in the nation’s capital where he spent two decades as a player and then head coach.
Houston hosts long-time rivals LA Galaxy at Shell Energy Stadium on Decision Day on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 8 p.m. CT to close out the MLS regular season.
All Dynamo matches will stream on MLS Season Pass, a subscription service offered on Apple TV. The 2024 season marks the second of a 10-year partnership between MLS and Apple.
