Rare display of anger at Huddersfield Town *

In addition to being a two-time Championship winner and an extremely successful EFL manager, Daniel Farke is well-liked by his colleagues in the football community for his overall composure and self-control.

To put it briefly, it takes a lot to enrage the Leeds United manager, who, in contrast to a good number of people in the Premier League, the so-called greatest league in the world, is also, thankfully, not one of those people who wallow in excuses.

However, when questioned during his pre-game press conference prior to Saturday’s home game against Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United, Farke did offer some pointed criticism on two subjects.

The first concerned potential adjustments to his team’s early-February fixture schedule. He referred to it as the “crunch time period of the season.”
The second concerned the acts of some disgusting “fans” who decided to show up outside Patrick Bamford’s house and obstruct his driveway following his missed penalty kick in the match against Newcastle United towards the end of the previous season.
