Hull CityJadstar en Philogene is attracting interest from teams in the Premier League and across Europe, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
You can understand, though, why the Tigers have been able to add some really good players.
Owner Acun Ilicali is a driven individual who is eager to return the team to the Premier League; Liam Rosenior is a very gifted young coach who has kept his team in the running for promotion at this stage.
Along with Cameron Archer and Aaron Ramsey, who also left Villa Park during the summer transfer window, Philogene officially sealed his departure from Aston Villa.
Some Villa supporters were perhaps taken aback by these long-term exits, but Hull has gained in Philogene, who is still making an impression at the MKM Stadium.
Premier League and European interest in Jaden Philogene
Although the clubs who are interested in Romano are not mentioned in this update, Romano feels that teams in the English premier league are keen in him.
The same journalist did, however, also disclose that teams from other European leagues are monitoring the 22-year-old, who may get bids in the upcoming window.
Romano thinks he’s a guy to watch, but the Tigers will have a lot of negotiating power if bids are made for him because his contract doesn’t expire until the summer of 2026.
Hull shouldn’t be trying to sell Philogene for a low price during the upcoming window because he still has three years left on his contract.
If anything, they ought to be making every effort to try and hold him back at the MKM Stadium as long as they can.
Given how well regarded he was at Villa prior to moving to Hull, it is not surprising that the 22-year-old has had such an effect in Yorkshire.
The winger’s outstanding rabona goal against Rotherham United perhaps drew attention from some teams, but it wasn’t his only magical moment of the 2023–24 season.
Philogene only needs to remain consistent and keep his head down when it comes to his stance.
The 22-year-old’s performance could suffer if he becomes sidetracked by speculations, which would hinder his chances of competing at the greatest level.
