Hull FC left with major questionable decisions ahead of 2024.

Prior to the 2024 season, the Black and Whites have signed numerous talented players, including strikers Franklin Pele and Herman Ese’ese. Additionally, they brought on Fa’amanu Brown. The former Featherstone Rovers spine player arrives with strong international experience having played for both Samoa and New Zealand.

However, Hull still have an outside back to take into account when it comes to hiring. Adam Pearson stated that although the team has only signed Liam Tindall from Leeds Rhinos, they intended to sign more players in this area.

Another signing in this area would be crucial given the struggles of players like Carlos Tuimavave with injuries, and they have choices like Derrell Olpherts and possible targets in the Championship.

Consequently, the club faces a significant question as the new year approaches, one that is made more pressing by Liam Tindall’s injury—he shattered his thumb.

Hull FC signing prepping for big year

They have signed a new fullback in the shape of former Leeds Rhinos and Hull KR star Jack Walker who is prepping for a big year.

“Maybe a little too much time, but I’ve spent quite a deal of time in the gym! He told hullfc.com, “I’ve been doing a lot of extras to make sure my body is in terrific form.

It’s no secret that I’ve struggled with injuries over the years, so I’m doing all in my power to try and avoid any more setbacks. Besides, it’s helping me understand my body better now.

The preseason has been quite difficult thus far. Actually, I haven’t had one since 2019 due to injuries that have interfered.
“But pre-season is what it is. It’s always challenging, but I’m loving it and I know I’m going to reap the dividends in the long run.”

The Black and Whites have offered themselves choices down the spine, but will they test the market as a possible Christmas gift to their supporters, or will their recruitment be finished? As Tony Smith’s new chapter in the club’s history really starts to take shape at the MKM Stadium, only time will tell.
