Hull FC, according to owner Adam Pearson, are set to make two marquee signings in their bid to improve on their disappointing Super League campaign so far.

The Black and Whites currently sit second-from-bottom, only above London Broncos, and will certainly not be happy with how 2024 has gone.

They’ve already send head coach Tony Smith and big names such as Tex Hoy, Franklin Pele and Nu Brown packing, showing a real discontent.

Speaking to The Yorkshire Post, Adam Pearson said: “We’ve signed six or seven already for next year.

“We’ll probably have two marquee players next season, maybe a third.

Owner Adam Pearson of Hull FC says the team will bring in two big names to try to turn around their dismal Super League performance thus far.

The Black and Whites, who are presently only above the London Broncos in the standings, will undoubtedly be dissatisfied with the way 2024 has turned out.

They’ve already fired head coach Tony Smith and prominent figures like Franklin Pele, Tex Hoy, and Nu Brown, demonstrating their genuine dissatisfaction.

They have, however, also taken other action, appointing Richie Myler as Director of Coaching and confirming John Cartwright as the new head coach for the upcoming season.

John Cartwright and Richie Meyer have everyday conversations. John has trained many of the athletes who make up his objectives over the past five to seven years, so he has a great understanding of their personalities and skill sets.

“We’ve invested a significant amount in new software, a database that allows us to track every player in the world on a far more detailed basis,” Pearson continued, revealing a new method for recruiting new players.


“Two or three Super League clubs use that system, which Richie was instrumental in introducing.”

They’ll undoubtedly need to make significant advancements over their on-field performance this season.
