Indiana has offered a scholarship to four-star class of 2025 point guard Chance Mallory of the St. Anne’s-Belfield School in Charlottesville, Va., and the Team Thrill AAU program.
Mallory is a 5-foot-9 point guard ranked the No. 88 overall prospect in the country in the 2025 class by 247Sports.
Mallory has scholarship offers from Indiana, Virginia, Maryland, Butler, Seton Hall, Villanova, Central Florida, VCU, Virginia Tech and West Virginia among others.
“Chance is special,” said one person who has seen him quite a bit.
Mallory was a Team Thrill teammate of IU five-star class of 2024 center recruiting target Derik Queen.
Mallory averaged 14.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 3.0 steals this past season for St. Anne’s-Belfield.
Mallory is smaller, but he is a quick guard with a scoring mentality.
He shot 40 percent on 258 3-point attempts, according to the Cerebrosports database. That is over 46 games.
During that 46-game same stretch, Mallory also averaged 2.8 assists, 1.2 turnovers and 1.7 steals.
