Class of 2024 five-star center announces final four schools:

Class of 2024 five-star center Derik Queen is down to four schools.

Queen, a 6-foot-9 big man who plays at Montverde Academy in Florida, is considering Houston, Indiana, Kansas and Maryland.

He is the No. 17 player in the country, according to the 247Composite.

The five-star center – a native of Baltimore, Maryland – has already completed official visits to each of his finalists.

According to Joe Tipton, “a decision is likely to come before the early signing period (Nov. 8-15).”

As a junior at Montverde, Queen averaged 11.6 points and 6.5 rebounds and shot 64 percent from the field.

Indiana already has a commitment from Queen’s close friend and high school teammate, Liam McNeeley.
