Funches said of receiving an IU scholarship offer, “It was big,” to Peegs.com. “I like the programme and how they use their bigs.”
Apart from Indiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Creighton, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, Michigan, Mississippi State, Missouri, NC State, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Wichita State, and other universities have extended scholarship offers to Funches.
He’s being watched by Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, and other universities.
Funches was seen by Peegs.com in October during the USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team Minicamp.
Funches, a southpaw who is 6-foot-10, has exceptional touch while shooting, especially from the midrange and mid range extended. He scored goals over opponents. At this point in his growth, he is a thin player who shown excellent mobility and agility.
