After managing the extensions of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Federico Dimarco, and Denzel Dumfries, Inter Milan wants to extend the contract of captain Lautaro Martinez.

Martinez’s Inter contract is currently set to expire at the end of June 2026.

In the fall of 2021, the former Racing Club striker signed his current contract.

Inter, meanwhile, is already prepared to start planning far into the future. Martinez is a player who the team views as being a part of its core for many years to come.

The level of the Argentine’s performances during the previous few of seasons has only increased. As a result, the Nerazzurri are willing to sign him to a new, lengthy contract in order to secure his future.

Furthermore, Martinez being removed from Inter is not without intrigue.

The recent targets for the Nerazzurri striker include Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur of the Premier League.

preparing for contract negotiations with Lautaro – Dimarco & Dumfries Inter seek to extend their captain’s contract to the end of June 2026 after Mkhitaryan.

A substantial wage boost would undoubtedly come with this contract.

Additionally, Inter are optimistic because of the strong bond that exists between the team and the player, who is undoubtedly content where he is.

Martinez’s contract extension is a top goal for the Nerazzurri for the upcoming months.

However, the Gazzetta reports that there are a few cases that they will try to handle.

The midfielder Mkhitaryan’s current contract expires at the end of June, to start. The Armenian is still a crucial member of Simone Inzaghi’s squad, therefore Inter will try to negotiate a new contract with him.

Dimarco and Dumfries are wingbacks who follow.

The contracts for the two people are currently set to expire at the end of June 2026.

The circumstances of Dimarco and Dumfries are not particularly urgent. They are, however, more so than Martinez’s.

Inter will therefore start contract extension discussions with the two wingbacks before they do the Argentine.
