Wayne Campbell, 42, was temporarily released from Hollesley Bay prison yesterday evening when he was reported missing to the police at approximately 7:30 p.m.
He is characterised as being six feet two inches tall, black, having black hair, and having a heavy physique. His upper left arm bears a tattoo of a Playboy, whereas his right arm bears a cross.
Campbell has ties to the London region as well.
Anyone who may have seen him or knows where he is is asked to call 101 to report them to the police.
