Following a collision on the A14 involving three automobiles, a 40-year-old motorcyclist lost his life.
At approximately 17:45 BST on Thursday, Suffolk Police were summoned to the westbound carriageway close to Ipswich.
The road in the Sproughton region was closed between junctions 54 and 53 due to a collision involving a car, van, and motorcycle.
The male rider passed away at the site, despite the fact that paramedics had also been dispatched.
No other injuries were reported.
The force is appealing for any witnesses or any drivers with dashcam footage to contact the collisions unit, quoting reference 37/31141/24.
