A body has been found in the search for a 24-year-old missing woman who vanished nearly two weeks ago near the Kent coastline.
Leah Daley was last seen on The Warren coastal walk in Folkestone on Thursday 8 2024 at around 7pm.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “A body has been found during a search for a missing woman from Folkestone.
“The discovery was made in undergrowth at The Warren in Folkestone on the afternoon of Thursday 8 2024.
“While formal identification has not yet taken place, the family of a 24-year-old woman who was reported missing from the town has been informed.”
It comes a day after her family issued an emotional appeal for her return.
CCTV footage revealed some of Ms Daley’s last known steps were near the Warren.
She was seen wearing a dark-coloured ‘Parka’ style coat, patterned leggings, ‘Converse’ style trainers and carrying a black sports backpack, with her hair pinned up in a bun.
Ms Daley was described by police as being around five feet and four inches tall, with brown shoulder-length hair and blue eyes
