Man involved in car crash in Kent struggles for life as road closed

A car struck a man, who was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

The serious collision occurred yesterday just before 12:30 p.m. on Fairfield Road in Broadstairs.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was struck by a black Nissan Qashqai that had stopped at the intersection with Fair Street, according to the police.

Due to his potentially fatal injuries, the man had to be airlifted to a hospital.

“Inquiries into the incident are ongoing and there have been no arrests,” a police spokesman stated.
