Following a three-car collision that left multiple people injured, the air ambulance was dispatched.
The accident occurred yesterday, just before 8 o’clock in the evening on the Lower Road, Minster, on the Isle of Sheppey.
While emergency personnel responded, the road between Scocles Road and Thistle Hill Way was momentarily closed.
“We were called at 7:57 p.m. to a report of a three-car collision in Lower Road, Minster,” stated Kent Police.
Although a number of individuals were transported to a nearby hospital, it was thought that their injuries would not be fatal.
“There are ongoing enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the collision.”
“Our crew arrived on scene at 8.21pm and worked with SECAmb, Kent Police, and Kent Fire and Rescue Service to help treat the patient, involved in a road traffic collision,” a spokesman for the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex Air Ambulance said.
“The patient was subsequently driven to the hospital.”
