A second man has been arrested and charged in connection with the murder of a 36-year-old man in North Ayrshire.
On February 6, Alan Lawson passed away in a hospital following discovery of severe injuries at his Saltcoats residence.
It was understood that Mr. Lawson was abandoned at his home after being beaten at a property in nearby Largs.
On Wednesday, the 27-year-old man who was arrested is scheduled to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
On February 20, the 29-year-old man who had been previously detained and charged in relation to the murder made an appearance at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
