Emergency services race to two vehicle crash in Kilmarnock town centre

Police are currently in attendance after a two vehicle smash on Old Mill Road.

Responders rushed to a two-vehicle collision in Kilmarnock’s town centre this morning.

Following the collision, crews hurried to Old Mill Road at around 10.30 a.m.
The presence of emergency services has been confirmed by the police.

It is acknowledged that traffic is being rerouted away from the area and that the road has been closed.
If anyone was hurt in the collision, it has not been made public by officials.

Additionally, Stagecoach West stated that delays were expected. They wrote on X: “Delays expected on all services due to a road accident in the town centre.”
“Around 10.20am on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, officers were called to reports of a two vehicle crash at Old Mill Road, Kilmarnock,” a Police Scotland spokeswoman stated.
