Fatal crash in Kilmarnock claims the life of 34 year-old

The incident happened around 6.55pm on Sunday night and involved a blue Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle.

Following a deadly collision on the A76 between Kilmarnock and Mauchline, a 34-year-old man passed away.

The incident involving the blue Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle occurred on Monday night at approximately 6:55 p.m.

The man, 34, who was riding a motorbike was declared dead at the site by emergency services.

In order to conduct crash investigation work, the road was stopped in both directions. On Monday morning, it reopened at roughly 2.45 am.
Road policing officials are currently requesting information about the tragedy that occurred on Monday night.

“Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has died and our enquiries into the circumstances of what happened are ongoing,” stated Irvine Road Policing Unit Sergeant Martin Cunningham.

“Please get in contact if you witnessed what happened or if you are a driver in the area and have dash-cam footage that could help with our investigation.”
