The incident involving the blue Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle occurred on Monday night at approximately 6:55 p.m.
Following a deadly collision on the A76 between Kilmarnock and Mauchline, a 34-year-old man passed away.

The man, 34, who was riding a motorbike was declared dead at the site by emergency services.
In order to conduct crash investigation work, the road was stopped in both directions. On Tuesday, around 2.45 am, it was reopened.
Road policing officials are currently requesting information about the tragedy that occurred on Monday night.
“Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has died and our inquiries into the circumstances of what happened are ongoing,” stated Irvine Road Policing Unit Sergeant Martin Cunningham.
