“Police were called to a report of an assault on King Street, Kilmarnock, at approximately 5.30 p.m. on Monday, June 10,” a spokeswoman for Police Scotland stated. “The 41-year-old man was taken to Crosshouse Hospital, and inquiries into the assault are still ongoing.”
