Man jailed again after threatening police at Crosshouse Hospital*

A Kilmarnock man has been jailed after threatening police officers at Crosshouse Hospital.

On January 8, 43-year-old Neil Morton of Knockinlaw Road entered a guilty plea to acting in a “threatening or abusive manner” at the hospital.

According to court documents, he threatened to harm the police at the medical institution with violence on several occasions.

When he appeared in Kilmarnock Sheriff Court this week for his sentencing, he was given a 16-week jail sentence that was retroactive to January 8.
