Police close Kilmarnock road as emergency services race to two vehicle crash

Emergency services have raced to a two vehicle crash in Kilmarnock town centre this morning.

Crews were scrambled to Old Mill Road around 8.30am after the smash.

Police have confirmed that emergency services are still in attendance.

It’s understood that the road has been closed and that traffic is being diverted from the area.

Officials have not disclosed if anyone was injured in the crash.

Stagecoach West also said that delays were anticipated. They posted on X: “Delays expected on all services due to a road accident in the town centre.”

A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “Around 8.20am on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 officers were called to reports of a two vehicle crash at Old Mill Road, Kilmarnock.
