Police seal off Kilmarnock road as man arrested for murder

A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

After receiving a report of a disturbance this morning, police blocked off a street in Ayrshire.

Along with crews from the Scottish Ambulance Service, officers were sent to the site and Hurlford’s Morris Crescent was sealed down.


This morning, authorities verified that an arrest has been made in relation to the incident involving a 48-year-old man, and that investigations are still on.

“On Monday, April 29, 2024, at approximately 8.30am, we were called to a disturbance on Morris Crescent, Hurlford, Kilmarnock,” a Police Scotland spokesman stated.A 48-year-old male was taken into custody in relation to the incident once officers arrived. There are still inquiries open.”
