Police shut down Kilmarnock home after ugly accident occur

 

Police shut down a Kilmarnock street last night after receiving a report of concern for a person.

Cops swooped on Highet Street in the town yesterday afternoon and remained at the scene for several hours.

Officers cordoned off the entire road between Danny Coffey Avenue and William Street.

Multiple force vehicles were called to the scene and riot police eventually showed up at the scene of the incident.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal, according to Police Scotland, which confirmed today that a 33-year-old man was arrested and charged in relation to the incident.

A representative for Police Scotland stated: “On Wednesday, December 27, at approximately 3:15 p.m., we received a report of a person who was missing from Highet Street in Kilmarnock.

A 33-year-old man was arrested and charged after officers arrived, and a report will be forwarded to the procurator fiscal.
