Reason why shop and cafe ordered to close down in kilmarnock

A well-known Kilmarnock store has been told to close by the authorities, yet it is still closed.

There have been rumours that Dunelm at Glencairn Retail Park in the town has closed due to a gas leak.
Teams are working nonstop to resolve the problem since the alert was initially triggered last week.

While SGN personnel are working at the side of the store, a portion of Holmquarry Road has been entirely closed.
Workers at the scene have excavated different sections of the road.
It’s understood that authorities closed the store on Wednesday, and it hasn’t opened back up.

The alleged gas leak has not impacted any other stores, and they are still operating as of right now.

A sign in the window says, “Closed until further notice by order of Scottish Gas. Please check our Facebook page for update. Sorry for any inconvenience.” It is reported that the store was shuttered by authorities on Wednesday and has been closed, ever since.
