Teenagers arrested at bus station amid reports of dead bodies*

On Thursday night, reports of two individuals with knives were brought to the attention of the police.
Following accusations of them having a knife at a Kilmarnock bus station, police tracked down two youths and made an arrest.

Police were notified on Thursday night that the young people were in possession of the knife.

The two boys, both sixteen, were located and taken into custody for carrying knives in a public place, according to police confirmation.

“Police officers in Kilmarnock attended the Bus Station on the evening of Thursday, April 11, 2024 following a report of two males in possession of a knife,” a Police Scotland spokesman said.

“Two males aged 16 were traced and arrested for being in possession of a knife within a public place.”
