Police in Peterborough have taken into custody a man who was wanted.
Adam Jones, a 34-year-old King’s Lynn resident without a definite address, was wanted for assault, theft, and failing to appear in court.
Tuesday morning he was hauled into custody and brought to the King’s Lynn Police Station to be questioned.
Authorities had already asked the public for assistance in finding Jones, and they had expressed gratitude to them for their support.
A King’s Lynn man who was wanted by police has been found.
Oliver Watkins, 32, was wanted for violating court bail and for being sent back to prison. He did not have a fixed home.
Watkins, also known as Ollie, was a known resident of the Dereham region and was described as having a thin frame and standing 6 feet 3 inches tall.
On Wednesday, April 17, he was located, one day following the announcement of the press appeal.
The man set his clothing on fire (Image: Facebook)Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the scene on Lynn Road, King’s Lynn, at about 9.50pm on Sunday and the road was closed.
A specialist police negotiator was also drafted in, as officers tried to persuade the man to come down.
However, the stand-off did not come to an end until 3.25am on Monday, when the man came down and was arrested.
