After the collision, the road was blocked in both directions.
A collision happened on Friday on Kirkham Bypass close to the Grammar School.
After that, the road from the Ribby Roundabout to the intersection with Freckleton Street was blocked in both directions.
The Lancashire Police spokesperson stated: “We anticipate the road to be closed for a while.”
“We anticipate heavy traffic, so please avoid the area.”
It was later verified by the force that the incident was a “minor injury collision.”
As drivers tried to veer away from the scene, heavy traffic was starting to accumulate in the area.
