“Extremely dangerous man” jailed for unprovoked Leamington assault

Upon his recent appearance at Warwick Crown Court, Damion Mort, 39, of no fixed abode, entered a guilty plea to assault and was sentenced to 22 months in prison. In July 2022, Mort and the victim, a man in his 40s, were in Warwick Road, Leamington after a night out. The thug then stamped on his victim’s face, knocking him unconscious.

“This was a vicious, sustained, and unprovoked attack.
