At approximately 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, police were called to Shuckburgh Grove in Leamington Spa following the discovery of a man’s body at a flat. Following an investigation, a man in his 60s was detained in connection with the death, but he was later released. Subsequently, detectives confirmed that the man’s death is “not being treated as suspicious,” notified his family, and a file will be prepared for the coroner, according to Warwickshire Police.
“We were called to reports of a medical emergency at a private address on Shuckburgh Grove at 8.29am on Saturday (February 17),” a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman stated. A paramedic officer and one ambulance were present.
One male patient in critical condition was found by the crews. The individual was given medical attention right away, but regrettably, it soon became clear that nothing could be done to save him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
