In Leamington Spa, a thirty-something woman has been discovered dead. Old Warwick Road was the scene of a police call this morning, Wednesday, February 28.
Around 8.40 a.m., paramedics and the Critical Care Car of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance also arrived. A woman’s body was discovered in the Grand Union Canal, according to officials.
The police stated they have notified her next of kin. According to Warwickshire Police, her death is not being investigated as suspicious, and a case will be created for the coroner.

“We were called to Old Warwick Road in Leamington Spa at 8.40am this morning (Wednesday, February 28) after a report that someone was thought to be in the Grand Union Canal,” a Warwickshire Police spokesman stated. Sadly, the body of a woman in her 30s was found when officers and other emergency personnel arrived. Her family has been notified.
