Hernandez shares reason why Marcelo Bielsa brilliance’s at Leeds United succeeded’

Daniel Farke’s team has been winning the Whites’ supporters over with their performances this season; since entering in the summer, the German has forged a close relationship with the fan base.

After the team was demoted, whomever took over had a difficult task ahead of them because none of the previous managers had been as successful as Marcelo Bielsa.

Pablo Hernandez discussed how careful Bielsa is as his manager on the El Camino Del Entrenador podcast, which Infobae relayed. He said that Bielsa is the best manager he has ever worked under.

Notwithstanding the fact that some of the training sessions weren’t the most interesting, Hernandez says the renowned Argentine is the manager who has taught him the most. He declared:

He claimed that playing is intellectually taxing and even monotonous for the player on a daily basis.

We enjoy playing football with less players, which is enjoyable. Although Bielsa’s training sessions can be monotonous at times, you will be persuaded that this is the path to success and skill after witnessing our competitiveness and superiority over our rivals on the pitch.

You eventually internalise it and grow accustomed to that mode of operation.

“Bielsa gave me a lot of tactical advice on how to read a game and organise a match. I was unable to advance as a player until he arrived. I’ve learned the most from him, and he is the one who taught me that.

Hernandez was too talented for the Championship on his own right from the start when he made his Leeds debut, but Bielsa was the manager who brought out the best in him.

That someone as smart as Hernandez was able to pick up so much knowledge under El Loco, even under the guidance of some very educated people, only goes to demonstrate how wonderful a manager we had in Bielsa.

Hernandez further notes that Bielsa has influenced him to become a coach, something that might not have happened without his influence at Elland Road.

Hernandez thought a lot of Bielsa’s training was dull, but it was obviously efficient on the pitch, so maybe the Spaniard will apply same mentality to his coaching career.
