Leads in concrete talk for £100k-a-week Spurs man>

The 49ers are reportedly interested in Tottenham Hotspur’s Ben Davies, albeit the move is considered to be extremely ambitious. Leeds United is still looking for a new left-back.

After moving from Swansea to Spurs in 2014, Davies, 30, is going on ten years old. He went on to play 327 league and cup games for Spurs, making 16 appearances under Postecoglou.

Davies has been a regular even though Destiny Udogie was the preferred choice on the left and Micky van der Ven was on the left side of central defence. mostly as a result of injuries, his adaptability and dependability.

Under former Celtic manager Postecoglou, Davies has been performing admirably; in fact, this month, Gary Lineker praised him. It is highly improbable that Spurs will let go of the £100k-a-week player.

Like Joe Rodon, he has a contract with the Spurs through June 2025; at the conclusion of the current campaign, he will begin his final year. He has mentioned Rodon finding a home and joining the ideal club in Leeds.

According to Phil Hay on The Athletic’s website, Leeds is showing a “speculative” interest in Davies, and Farke would greatly benefit from his versatility if the team were to pursue promotion in the second part of the season.

Leeds, however, is equally aware that considering how crucial he is to Tottenham, a trade is extremely unlikely. Davies may find success with a summer strategy, particularly if Leeds return to the Premier League.

But there’s no denying that signing Davies would be a fantastic move. He is an excellent player who delivers both up front and in the back. He is also a reliable player. You have to do it if you can.
