Leeds 24-year-old seriously impressed after Huddersfield Town win…

Leeds United star Liam Cooper was seriously impressed with teammate Pascal Struijk after yesterday’s 4-1 domination of rivals Huddersfield Town.

Struijk took to

social media as Daniel Farke’s side returned to winning ways and third place in the Championship.

Leeds dominated the struggling Terriers at Elland Road in the first half, putting on a masterclass.

Even though Crysencio Summerville isn’t fully recovered, his ability to score twice and dish out two assists in just 45 minutes could scare championship defenders when he’s at his peak.

Daniel James, who can be a very productive player when he’s in form, was happy to see his name back on the score sheet as well.

Still, Farke will be happy with his defense’s performance through the 70th minute.

Despite the fact that Leeds United had already won the game, Michal Helik’s goal destroyed their clean sheet.

In the core of Leeds’ defence, Farke started Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk. After an hour, Liam Cooper was brought off the bench to replace the injured Welshman.

In addition, the 24-year-old emphasised his importance at the moment by donning the captain’s armband that day.

Even though it’s been estimated that his current value is £20 million, Leeds won’t even think about selling him if they make it back to the Premier League the following year.

Cooper impressed with Leeds teammate Struijk

After the game, Struijk posted on Instagram, writing, “Winning today feels like the perfect response.” Fantastic teamwork at Elland Road.

Liam Cooper was impressed with his teammate’s performance, and because Rodon took a knock yesterday, they might play together in their upcoming game.

When they visit league leaders Leicester City for that match, Farke’s team will need to perform at the highest level.

Leeds supporters will be confident that they can win even though the Foxes have only dropped three points this season.

Even though Farke’s team wasn’t playing at its peak, they were still able to defeat Ipswich Town.

With Cooper and Struijk at the core of their defence, Leeds will be hoping to surprise Leicester on Friday night as well.

And with Summerville in the best shape of his life right now, he’ll pose a serious threat to Enzo Maresca’s squad if he can maintain his form.
