The newspaper reported on its website on Tuesday (28 November) that Danish international Kristensen’s case is listed for 5 December at Harrogate Magistrates Court, where a disqualification will be considered following an alleged speeding offence on the A6040 Knaresborough Road on 19 February of this year.
It further stated that American attacking midfielder Aaronson’s case, which was delayed until 3 January, will also be heard in Harrogate Magistrates Court. Aaronson was charged with exceeding 30 mph on March 12 and with failing to provide information regarding the identity of a vehicle’s driver when prompted to do so on August 9. Disqualification will also be taken into consideration.
Unhappy return
Prior to their court hearings, neither Leeds loanee will be particularly anticipating their return to the West Yorkshire region.
Currently on loan from Roma, the 26-year-old Kristensen has made 12 appearances for the team this season despite recently losing his starting spot.
Aaronson, on the other hand, isn’t exactly having the greatest of times with Union Berlin either. In his 14 appearances on loan in the German city, the 23-year-old has made just five starts and has spent the majority of the season warming the bench.
Whether one of those players stays at Elland Road at the conclusion of the season is still up in the air, but a lot will rely on the division the team ends up in.
The two are accused of committing driving offences. In October, Whites winger Ian Poveda admitted to driving while disqualified, received a six-month driving penalty, and was mandated to perform 140 hours of unpaid labour.
