Tony Dorigo sends brilliant message to Leeds United fans after win 3-1 Leicester’

Until the 80th minute, it felt like the Foxes would win this game after they had taken the lead in the first half. But Leeds who have remained undefeated at Elland Road this season (13 wins and four draws), refused to give up.

Conor Roberts levelled the tie after entering from the bench. The already electrifying mood along Elland Road took on a new dimension after that. And the audience went crazy as Archie Grey used a deflection to find the net.

It was crazy. The crowd went wild, and when Patrick Bamford scored the game’s final goal to secure all three points, there was mayhem in the stands. Tony Dorigo thanked the Leeds supporters on X, calling them “magnificent.”

Dorigo posted on X, “For all the Leeds United fans at Elland Road tonight – you were magnificent!”

Can Leeds United win the Championship title?

Leeds United supporters are renowned for their fervour, and Elland Road has gained notoriety for its capacity to create a thrilling environment.

The players were undoubtedly encouraged to go for the kill by the support, and the final ten minutes have been incredible. There’s a lot of competition for promotion. Southampton is not too far away, and Ipswich Town is in the mix.

Leeds may win the Championship title if they defeat Leicester, according to a piece written by David Prutton for the Yorkshire Evening Post. The difference is now only six points, and the Whites should feel like they have a good shot at this stage.

Naturally, Leicester will have to give up points at the same time, but their recent losses will give others hope that they can take points off them. Leeds have won all their Championship games in 2024 but they still need to stay focussed to get the job done.
