Daniel Farke given green light in his pursuit of Liverpool player#

As Leeds United gets ready to play Preston North End, all the most recent information and rumours regarding transfers are included.

Leeds United is getting ready for its matchup with Preston North End at home as they attempt to maintain pressure on the top two. The Whites will now want to maintain their strong home record after easily defeating Cardiff City in South Wales the previous week.

Though they are still seven points outside of the top two, Daniel Farke’s team should grow closer in the upcoming weeks with a run of steady play. We have compiled all of the most recent Elland Road news and transfer rumours in the interim.

Ramsay links

Calvin Ramsay, a youthful full-back for Liverpool, is reportedly attracting interest from Leeds. Ramsay, who signed with the Reds in 2022 for a reported sum of £6.5 million, has not yet made a senior game. However, he did spend a brief season on loan with Preston last year.

Leeds are in need of a full-back after loaning out Luke Ayling and sending Djed Spence back to Tottenham. The Daily Mail have reported that Ramsay is an option, with the Whites reportedly interested in a loan deal. Liverpool, meanwhile, will be keen for Ramsay to get some first-team football in the back-end of this season.

Benson ‘interest’

The Burnley player Manuel Benson is rumoured to be joining Leeds this month after Southampton was unable to finalise a deal. It’s reported that the two promotion opponents, Leeds and the Saints, have the same target in David Brooks. Both teams are reportedly interested in signing a winger.

The most recent player to be connected to both teams is Benson. A regular player for Burnley the previous season, Benson has faded from the picture this time around. Benson has four years left on his Turf Moor contract, so any trade is probably going to be a loan. However, according to Sacha Tavolieri, Leeds is now pressing for a deal.
