Leeds United bid accepted for hot prospect

Leeds United is said to have enquired about Crystal Palace’s Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, a winger.
After a 2023–24 season at Selhurst Park disrupted by injuries, the 21-year-old is back to full strength. Despite being in the picture at the beginning of the season, his final league appearance came in October due to a hamstring issue.

Rak-Sakyi is part of Palace manager Oliver Glasner’s preseason roster, but the wide player has been linked to a move outside of the city. According to reports, Southampton, a recently promoted Premier League team, and Hull City are both interested in him.

TEAMtalk claims that Leeds is also interested in him and that they have inquired about hiring him. Previously, he made an impression in the EFL by illuminating League One while on loan at Charlton Athletic.

Even with his successes with the Addicks, he hasn’t been able to make a breakthrough, and a new challenge elsewhere might be able to revitalise his career. It is rumoured that Palace would consider letting him go on loan.

In the event that Leeds loses Wilfried Gnonto or Crysencio Summerville, they will probably need to add another winger. Both of the players have been connected to moves outside of West Yorkshire; the most recent connection to Everton is with the latter.

The team has already sold Archie Grey and Glen Kamara, but Leeds has bolstered their midfield by signing Joe Rothwell on loan from AFC Bournemouth.
