After pushed Chelsea all the way in the FA Cup fifth round before losing to a last-minute winner, Leeds United will be a bit sore on Thursday. Given Chelsea’s squad’s obvious dominance, the loss is hardly insignificant; still, it was the Whites’ first 2024 defeat, and they wouldn’t have preferred it to occur against one of their former rivals.

During the January transfer window, Leeds was rumoured to be interested in Newcastle United defender Paul Dummett. However, they ultimately signed full-back Connor Roberts instead of a center-back.

According to the same report, he previously agreed to accept a pay cut in order to play for the team this year.
Gray interest
Archie Grey, a young player from Leeds, might be in high demand during the summer transfer window, especially if the Whites don’t achieve promotion. The Telegraph claims that OGC Nice, the French powerhouses, expressed interest most recently.
Nice allegedly attempted to arrange a trade during the January transfer window, but given what Leeds were requesting, they were unable to finance the transaction. Gray’s new contract, which is good through the summer of 2028, will only have raised his value.
