Tyler Adams left Leeds United in the summer in a £23 million move that threatened the Whites with legal action, but his time at his new club is not going well.
Leeds have no complaints about their midfield setup at the close of the transfer window, with Ethan Ampadu shining as someone who simply should not be playing in the second tier – while also being partnered with tremendous depth.
It comes after Tyler Adams left the club in search of another Premier League opportunity, signing a permanent deal with Bournemouth.
After threatening legal action to leave Elland Road for Dean Court in the summer, CEO Angus Kinnear made it clear on The Square Ball podcast that the midfielder has severed ties with the club.
He joined the Cherries for £23 million, still nursing the hamstring injury that terminated his 22/23 season in mid-March, and hopes to finish the tail end of his rehab at his new club.

However, more hamstring issues have emerged for the USMNT player, with The Athletic reporting that the same muscle is producing more issues that may force him to have surgery again.
Iraola discussed the midfielder and provided the following insight:
“Tyler, we don’t expect him back anytime soon.” I believe the medical staff is assessing the situation. They are asking many specialists to advise us on the best course of action.
“We haven’t made a decision yet.” But, whatever solution he or we choose, we don’t expect to see him on the pitch anytime soon. The hamstring is the same.
“He isn’t feeling well.” He played a few minutes because he wanted to give it

It’s evident that he was rushed back when he plainly wasn’t ready, which is something that would never have happened at Leeds.
We knew he was having trouble with his hamstring as he recovered, and Bournemouth took a chance on him.
It’s unfortunate that he’s suffering again, but given how he carried himself in attempting to leave, Leeds supporters may not be sympathetic.
