Leicester star linked to Liverpool is wanted by Fulham, and a £20 million deal will depend on one key condition.

Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and Timothy Castagne were among the players Marco Silva signed this summer, but the manager wants to strengthen his team even further.

Following their promotion from the Championship the previous year, Fulham had a fantastic 2022–23 season. They came in at number 10 in the standings.

This season, the Cottagers have also gotten off to a strong start, earning seven points from their first five games.

Silva is still looking to upgrade his midfield, and he may turn to Dewsbury-Hall. But getting a deal done for him in January might be challenging.

As reported by TEAMtalk, Liverpool have previously registered an interest in the 25-year-old but ultimately opted to focus on alternative midfield targets in the summer.

Dewsbury-Hall may now be available for Fulham to sign, but he won’t be an inexpensive acquisition for the London club.

TalkSPORT claims that Fulham ‘admires’ Leicester’s Dewsbury-Hall. According to rumors, a deal may be contingent on the Foxes’ ability to win promotion back to the Premier League this year.

They probably won’t be able to tempt him away from the King Power in January as a result. Only offers exceeding £20 million are allegedly acceptable to the Foxes for him.

Dewsbury-Hall displayed several excellent results in the previous campaign. He played in 31 Premier League games, contributing two assists and two goals.

The versatile midfielder, who can play on offense or defense, has three assists and two goals this season in seven Championship games.

Leicester is currently tied for second place in the Championship table, one point behind the league-leading Preston North End, and appears to be a lock for promotion.

It will be intriguing to watch whether Fulham makes a January transfer attempt for Dewsbury-Hall. If not, they will have to postpone their move until the end of the current campaign, and it will depend on whether Leicester makes it back to the top division.
