Wilf Ndidi absence worries- Enzo Maresca….

In addition to being a member of the team on several occasions, Patson Daka was time to take the field yesterday for a brief game of championship football. Danny Ward and Jacub Stolarczyk were the two goalkeepers that Enzo Maresca placed on the substitute bench once more.

Muscle exhaustion caused Wilfred Ndidi to miss the match. Even though the season is only 13 games deep, injuries and bans will soon test this team’s limits, which will undoubtedly put Enzo Maresca under pressure to score points moving ahead.

All legs will be required until the next transfer window, as demonstrated by the fact that Marc Albrighton and Patson Daka both saw playing time yesterday and that Marcal Madivadua is back on the bench.

Patson Daka of Zambia, Kelechi Iheanacho of Nigeria, Abdul Fatawu of Ghana, and Wilfred Ndidi of Nigeria may all qualify for the AFCON, and ideally the injured players will recover in time to participate.

Callum Doyle, Dennis Praet, Tom Cannon, and Kasey McAteer are all out for an extended length of time; perhaps, Wilfred Nididi can make a quick recovery and won’t be gone for too long.

It’s clear that players will soon be absent due to bans as they are beginning to accumulate a sizable amount of yellow cards. Jannik Vestergaard has already served one ban, and Leicester was issued four yellow cards in a game played at home yesterday.

Leicester has received 34 yellow cards thus far; only Southampton and Stoke have received 35, and they are ahead. Receiving nearly three yellow cards in each game indicates that the usage of fouls is at the incorrect end of the chart, as seen by the impending number of players losing their spots due to suspension. Due to suspension, Harry Winks and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall—both on four cards—may be out of commission shortly.

The following is the list:

Jannik Vestergaard (7, Harry Winks 4, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall 4, Mads Hermansen 1, Ricardo Pereira 3, Stephy Mavididi 3, Wout Faes 2, Callum Doyle 1, Abdul Fatawu 3, James Justin 2, Yanus Akgun 1, Kasey McAteer 1, Jamie Vardy 1) are the players with yellow cards.

Every member of the team may be stretched in this scenario, so having top players like Patson Daka and Marc Albrighton at your disposal might be quite valuable. After all, we have all seen winning teams in games when their performances were unconvincing.
