Breaking All saddened at leicester tigers amid his passing away

Despite a difficult day against Northampton, Leicester Tigers celebrated some significant player milestones on Saturday afternoon.

East Midlands local and boyhood Tigers fan Finn Carnduff made his first Gallagher Premiership start, with fellow academy products Jack van Poortvliet and Dan Cole also recognised after the game.

Cole broke the all-time league appearances record set by Graham Rowntree by running out for his 235th league game, while van Poortvliet reached 50 Premiership games for Tigers.

Backrow Kyle Hatherell was also recognised with his 20-game tie.

After five weeks without a Gallagher Premiership fixture at home, the men’s team are back in action this Saturday (April 27) at Mattioli Woods Welford Road against Bristol Bears.

In what is proving to be the closest league season in recent memory, the run-in couldn’t be more important and a sell-out crowd is expected with fewer than 100 tickets remaining on sale.

The matchday doubles as this season’s JTC Takeover Day, offering Junior Tigers Club members the chance to take on key roles around the ground.

As well as the Cubs taking charge, there are a host of activities and entertainment options on offer for fans of all ages, before, during and after the game.
