Reports in the Hull Daily Mail suggest Hull FC have landed another Leigh Leopards player for the 2025 season, in the shape of second-rower Oliver Holmes.
John Asiata, the captain of Leigh, leads him to the MKM Stadium for the 2025 season. Since Richie Myler became Director of Rugby, Hull has signed three players from the Leopards.
Earlier in April, Tom Briscoe was the first player to depart from Leigh Sports Village. He signed an 18-month contract to join the Black & Whites right away, while Darnell McIntosh left.
Then Asiata was signed, a deal for which Leigh’s owner Derek Beaumont has since criticised Hull for the manner in which they publicised his arrival.
Despite this, the Airlie Birds are still heading to the Leopards in hopes of adding more players for the upcoming season. Holmes will be the next player to abandon the leopard print in favour of black and white in 2025.
According to the article in Hull Live, FC tried to get Holmes on loan for the current season but were unsuccessful in their attempt; as a result, they will have to settle for signing the former Warrington and Castleford player for the upcoming campaign.
