Ricky Leutele, the center for the Leigh Leopards, has been linked to a transfer to a Super League rival.
Over the weekend, while the Super League Magic Weekend was happening at Elland Road, Sky Sports reporter Jenna Brooks made that revelation.
Leutele was connected to the Huddersfield Giants, while Esan Marsters signed a 2025 contract to play for the Salford Red Devils.
Following Huddersfield’s 20-12 victory over the Castleford Tigers over the weekend, Luke Robinson, the head coach of the Giants, was questioned regarding the possibility of signing Leutele for the upcoming campaign.
Robinson stated: “The club is actively searching; there are four quota spots available, so we are constantly searching.”
It’s considerably more challenging when you don’t know who the coach will be at this particular moment.
“Hopefully, we are associated with good players, as this indicates that we are moving in the right direction.
In addition to being a really good player, he is also a really good professional. He is a valuable asset to your group.
