A Leyton resident has won £1,000,000 in the lottery and doesn’t even know it*

In the event that no one wins a legitimate claim, the money and interest accrued are distributed to National Lottery Projects around the United Kingdom.

These community monies are used for conferences and workshops, as well as for operating food banks and hosting movie screenings for underprivileged communities.

One of the most recent winners is a resident of Camden, north London, who struck it rich in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker drawing on February 23.

The owner of the winning code, XSPW63863, has until August 21 to pick up their prize.
