Extortion and Violation of the Ku Klux Klan Act, for Opposing Group’s….

This is a lengthy letter arguing that these political actions constitute unlawful intimidation as opposed to First Amendment speech.

A video was also posted on April 6, 2023, along with a tweet from Rick Wilson, co-founder of the Lincoln Project, another group actively trying to stop No Labels from exercising its constitutional rights. Wilson stated that No Labels and its leaders “need to be burned to the fucking ground politically.”

.. Such provocative language goes too far in endorsing acts of violence. We have all too well experienced from dealing with other modern politicians how inciting conflict with comments like those may destabilize the voter base.

Some coalition members opposed to No Labels have attempted to block our state-level ballot access initiatives and organizing efforts. For instance, the Democratic Party of Arizona filed a lawsuit on March 30, 2023, demanding that the No Labels Party of Arizona’s recognition be revoked, alleging that the Secretary of State had illegally granted the party’s petition for party recognition.

Melissa Moss, a former Democratic Party finance director and Lincoln Project representative, requested to have breakfast in Washington, D.C., on June 23, 2023, with Holly Page, a cofounder of No Labels and member of the Board of Advisors. At the time, Ms. Page had been employed for more than 20 years as a business consultant for Constance Milstein, the current U.S. Ambassador to Malta. Because of her association with No Labels, Ms. Moss specifically threatened Ms. Page’s financial future during the brunch. Ms. Moss said specifically, “You are unaware of the forces that are working against you.

You will never again be employed in Democratic politics. “You are going to get it with both barrels,” she went on to say. The statement “I wonder what Connie Milstein thinks about what you are doing, this can’t be good for her” was the most eerie one she made. Ms. Page was shocked and unsettled, especially by the most recent remark. As it happens, for good reason. In a few weeks, Ms. Milstein’s lawyer

called Ms. Page and informed her that Ms. Milstein was ending their connection since Ms. Page was no longer a persona non grata with the White House…
