The R166 in Annagassan, Co Louth is closed and diversions are in place following a road traffic accident earlier this morning.
Emergency services, including a coastguard helicopter, attended at the scene of the accident around 9am this morning.
The Garda press office said that “Gardaí are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision on the R166 in Annagassan, County Louth. “The road is closed and diversions are in place.”
