Gabe Osho, a defender, has provided the Hatters a much-needed boost by rejoining the first squad in training.
The 25-year-old hasn’t featured for Luton since their play-off victory over Coventry City on May 27 at Wembley, when he played 112 minutes as Luton won 6-5 on penalties to go to the Premier League.
He scored three goals in one of his 35 games last season, turning into a cult figure after scoring against Watford and Sunderland in the second leg of the play-off semifinal.
Osho hasn’t yet played for the Town in the Premier League because to an injury that occurred over the off-season, and Rob Edwards has also been missing Dan Potts and Jordan Clark thus far this season.
The availability of the defender will be a huge comfort for the Hatters manager after Mads Andersen was substituted in the 1-0 loss to Tottenham on Saturday and fellow centre back Amari’i Bell injured his hamstring against Burnley.
Town has two straight away games against Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa when the league returns this coming Saturday after the weekend-long international break. A image of Osho was posted on the club’s official Twitter account with the caption, “Back out on the training pitch.”
