Another Man plead Guilty of stolen confectionary worth huge amount….

A Luton man, 47, has entered a guilty plea to stealing over £400 worth of candy, condoms, Calpol, and Nicorette gum from a Harpenden Co-op.

On Friday, January 12, Elton Bierman, of Kings Street, Luton, appeared in St. Albans Magistrates’ Court and entered a guilty plea to four charges of shoplifting.

Bierman stole confectionery products worth £122 from the Southdown Road store on May 2, 2023.

He stole £150.50 worth of candy, condoms, and Calpol from the store on May 15.

Subsequently, on June 1, the Co-op was purloined of condoms, Nicorette gum, Calpol, and candy, totaling £139.50.

In November 2023, the same person stole confections from Morrisons in St. Albans for an amount that was not disclosed.

In 2023, Bierman entered a guilty plea to four more charges of shoplifting, pertaining to the pilferage of £495 worth of merchandise from the Harpenden Co-op.

Bierman’s sentence hearing is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, February 1, at St Albans Magistrates’ Court.
